Description

Taittinger Brut Prestige Magnum

Magnum Taittinger Brut Prestige is a high-end non-vintage champagne presented in a 1.5 litre format. Made from a refined blend of 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir (and sometimes a touch of Meunier), this cuvée reflects the expertise of the Taittinger House.

Technical characteristics

  • Format: 1.5 litre Magnum
  • Blend: Chardonnay ~40%, Pinot Noir ~60% (from 35 to 50 crus)
  • Ageing: minimum 3 years in the cellar
  • Dosage: brut (<12 g/L)

Nose and colour

This champagne has a bright straw yellow colour with fine, regular bubbles. The nose is open and expressive, with notes of ripe peach, white flowers (acacia, hawthorn), fresh brioche and a hint of vanilla.

Palate and texture

The attack on the palate is distinguished by its freshness and liveliness. The wine then develops aromas of fresh fruit, honey and a subtle spicy touch on the finish. The balance between tension and roundness underlines its consistent quality.

Suitable use

This Taittinger Magnum champagne is ideal as an elegant aperitif or to accompany a meal. Its structure and freshness are particularly suited to lovers of non-vintage cuvées offering complexity and consistency.
