Vintage Champagne 2015: tradition and elegance

The 2015 vintage embodies the spirit of the great champagne houses: each house highlights an exceptional year through a heritage of expertise. In 2015, the weather conditions (hot summer, optimal ripening) allowed the grapes to reach a beautiful aromatic concentration. The great houses, heirs to family or century-old traditions, mobilise their noble terroirs - the hillsides of the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims or the Crus Classés - to produce structured wines, suitable for ageing, underpinned by their emblematic grape varieties: chardonnay, pinot noir, sometimes meunier.

The Bonnaire Cramant Blanc de Blancs 2015, made entirely from Chardonnay from the Cramant Grand Cru and matured for several years on the lees, reveals notes of candied fruit, brioche and an assertive minerality. The Champagne Jacquart blanc de blancs millésime 2015, a blend of 100% chardonnay from premier and grand crus, develops a lovely citrus freshness and floral finesse. The Veuve Clicquot vintage brut 2015 stands out for its balance between power and delicacy, combining aromas of ripe fruit and brioche. Finally, the Louis Roederer rosé 2016 vintage - even if it's not 2015 - illustrates the Houses' desire to move towards vintage rosé cuvées, combining aromatic finesse and lively elegance.
