Taittinger Folies de la Marquetterie is an impressive gold dressed champagne, made of 45% Chardonnay and dominating 55% Pinot noir grapes. It is a light and refreshing champagne to go perfectly with the little things in life. Spend your evening laughing with friends or blissfully resting after a hard day's work, no matter the occasion, Folies de la Marquette has got you covered. The bouquet presents ripe peach, apricot compote and subtle hints of toasted brioche, followed delicately by floral vanilla. It has rich woody traces that completes the flavor profiles, following amazing notes of peach. This Taittinger champagne will give you reason to toast.
This Taittinger champagne is a superbly elegant wine, with fine persistent bubbles. As an aperitif it’s as flavorful as it is refined, and as a match for delicate seafood dishes such as shellfish, crab and lobster, or hearty roasts with rich sauces it works wonders too. It served well enough at the International Wine challenge to win Bronze in 2021, now you can enjoy all the quality Taittinger has to offer too.
The house believes in quality over quantity and this is especially true with the Taittinger Folies de la Marquetterie. The grapes come only from vines shadowed by the Chateau de la Marquetterie, exclusively a green harvest is undertaken, extracting sugary rich juices. This essence from the first press then spends five years maturing to ensure that every deep fragrance expressed by Taittinger's Champagne can be fully appreciated.
