Champagne Lombard Cuvée Signature Extra-Brut is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier from Premier Cru terroirs. Aged over 36 months on lees, it offers a precise, balanced expression.
An emblematic expression of Maison Lombard's savoir-faire, Cuvée Signature Extra-Brut embodies a precise, pure and mineral vision of champagne. A meticulous blend of Chardonnay (70%) and Pinot Noir (30%), this wine reflects the identity of the house, located in Épernay, in the heart of the Champagne vineyards. Made from grapes from several terroirs selected for their complementarity, this parcel-based champagne aims to reveal all the richness of its origins in a straightforward, taut style.
This Extra-Brut Champagne offers aromatic precision and brilliant freshness. The palate reveals a well-integrated saline tension, carried by the finesse of the Chardonnay and supported by the structure of the Pinot Noir. The bubbles are fine and persistent, highlighting notes of citrus, white fruit and delicate flowers. The absence of malolactic fermentation preserves a remarkable liveliness, reinforcing the wine's mineral imprint.
Ideal for lovers of gourmet champagnes, Cuvée Signature can be enjoyed at the table as well as on its own. It is the perfect accompaniment to iodized dishes, sashimi, oysters or sea bream tartar. Its balanced structure and tension also make it an ideal partner for hard cheeses or roast poultry.
Champagne Lombard Cuvée Signature Extra-Brut stands out for its rigorous technical approach and its desire to convey the identity of Champagne's terroirs. Through parcel-by-parcel selection and precise vinification without malolactic fermentation, Maison Lombard has created a pure, demanding cuvée for connoisseurs. It's a faithful expression of an independent winemaker's champagne, seeking balance between finesse, complexity and minerality.
To fully appreciate the aromatic complexity and structure of this champagne, serve between 8 and 10°C in a tulip-shaped glass. A slight aeration before tasting will reveal all the wine's elegance.
