Vintage Champagne 2014: tradition and expression
For decades, champagne houses have been exploiting exceptional terroirs to freeze the expression of a single harvest in time. The 2014 vintage is part of this approach: chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier are blended, depending on the house, to produce rare cuvées that balance freshness, tension and maturity. Le Mesnil, for example, draws its grapes from the Grand Cru terroir of Mesnil-sur-Oger to produce an interpretation of remarkable finesse.
