Champagne René Geoffroy Premier Cru Rosé de Saignée: an exceptional rosé made from macerated Pinot Noir grapes, offering fresh red fruit aromas and elegant structure.
Champagne René Geoffroy Rosé de Saignée is a unique cuvée made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the Premier Cru terroirs of Cumières. This method of vinification by maceration, known as "de saignée", gives this champagne an intense color and deep aromas, rare characteristics in the world of rosé champagnes.
This champagne has a brilliant ruby color. The nose reveals a bouquet of spring flowers, wild strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. On the palate, the attack is lively, with a vinous structure provided by the Pinot Noir, and a fresh, persistent finish.
Ideal with noble seafood such as pan-fried scallops, lobster or crayfish. It also goes well with white meats such as duck breast roasted with peaches. For dessert, a peach soup with strawberries will bring out its fruity aromas.
This Champagne Rosé de Saignée Premier Cru is distinguished by its traditional vinification method, offering an authentic expression of Cumières Pinot Noir. Prolonged ageing on lees gives it remarkable complexity and finesse, making this cuvée a preferred choice for lovers of champagnes with character.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in glasses adapted to the wine, to fully appreciate its aromas. To be enjoyed within 3 to 5 years of disgorging to benefit from its freshness and vivacity.
