Description

Champagne Collet Brut Rosé

Champagne Collet Brut Rosé is a balanced rosé blend, made from a precise blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes from 20 vineyards, including several Grands and Premiers Crus. Aged for at least 4 years in the chalk cellars of the Collet house, this champagne reveals finesse and structure.

Technical characteristics

  • Blend: 50% Pinot Noir (including 16% vinified as red wine), 40% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Meunier, with 20% reserve wines.
  • Terroirs: Aÿ, Hautvillers, Vertus, Mailly-Champagne, Chouilly, Avize, Oger, Vaudemange, Villers-Marmery, etc.
  • Ageing: Minimum 4 years in chalk cellars.
  • Format: 75 cl, Brut dosage.

Sensory profile

Colour

Intense pink, between peach and copper, offering a striking visual presentation.

Nose

Initial floral notes evolve into aromas of citrus (orange, mandarin), yellow peach and red fruits such as blackberry and raspberry. There are also hints of brown sugar, adding harmonious complexity.

Palate

A round attack thanks to the Meunier, followed by a lemony freshness characteristic of Chardonnay. The Pinot Noir brings generous fruitiness, complemented by a touch of chocolate on the finish. The delicate bubbles highlight a silky and balanced texture.

Use and pairings

This Champagne Premier Cru Collet is ideal for gourmet occasions: it pairs well with fine foods such as parmesan and almond biscuits or shellfish (e.g. blue lobster from Cotentin). Its structure and balance make it suitable for specific pairings.

Why choose this champagne?
