Champagne Claude Cazals Soléra Blanc de Blancs is a prestige blanc de blancs made from 100% Chardonnay Grand Cru from the terroirs of Oger and Mesnil-sur-Oger. Produced from a perpetual reserve started in 2004 using the traditional "Soléra" method, each vintage blends harmoniously with the previous ones, smoothing out annual variations while retaining the vitality of the Chardonnay.

Technical characteristics

  • Vinification: malolactic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats/tanks
  • Ageing: > 10 years on lees in vaulted cellars

Sensory profile

Its colour is brilliant, light yellow with a beautiful limpidity. The effervescence is delicate and persistent. The nose reveals complex aromas of pear, green apple, citrus (grapefruit), white flowers and a touch of mint and dried fruit, enhanced by a subtle woody/oxidative note. On the palate, it offers a fresh attack, carried by a marked minerality, a full-bodied structure and a long, greedy finish, well-balanced between liveliness and depth.
