Champagne Crucifix Les Craies - Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut

Champagne Blanc de Blancs Crucifix Les Craies is made from 100% Premier Cru Chardonnay (Avenay-Val-d'Or), vinified with care, aged in stainless steel and wood, then prolonged on laths for over 30 months. Its Extra Brut dosage (< 6 g/L) guarantees purity and tension.

Technical specifications

  • Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay (25-35 years old).
  • Terroir : Montagne de Reims - clay-limestone soil.
  • Vinification: 70% in stainless steel tanks, 30% in wood (7 months).
  • Ageing: ≥ 30 months on laths + 4 months post-disgorgement.
  • Dosage: < 6 g/L (Extra Brut).
  • Volume: 75 cl - 12% Vol.

Aromatic profiles & sensations

This Champagne Avenay-Val-d'Or has a light gold color with fine beading. On the nose, notes of pink grapefruit, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia). On the palate, brioche, toasted bread, discreet honey, with saline freshness and a long finish.

Pairings & serving

Ideal with delicate fish, seafood or fresh cheeses. Enjoy at around 8-10°C, in a tulip-shaped glass. Store between 10-12°C.
