Champagne Gaston Chiquet Tradition Premier Cru is a non-vintage Brut cuvée made from a blend of Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This champagne expresses the richness of the terroirs classified as Premier Cru in the Marne Valley, notably those of Dizy, Hautvillers and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. Vinified in stainless steel tanks and aged for several years on lees, it develops precise aromas of ripe fruit, white flowers, honey and cookie.
On the palate, it offers tension, fine mousse and a saline finish. Ideal with delicate dishes or seafood, this Premier Cru Champagne reflects the expertise of an independent, family-run Champagne house. Serve between 8°C and 10°C to appreciate its full complexity.
Produced by a renowned independent Champagne grower, Gaston Chiquet's Champagne Tradition Premier Cru reveals a careful blend of Pinot Meunier (35%), Chardonnay (30%) and Pinot Noir (35%). Aged 3 to 5 years on laths in stainless steel tanks, this Brut Premier Cru expresses the typicality of the Marne Valley, while offering a balance of freshness and complexity.
On the nose, this cuvée offers a rich palette of aromas: stone fruit (pear, apricot, peach), dried red fruit, honey and citrus, with a background of subtle brioche and white flowers. On the palate, the attack is juicy, carried by measured acidity and a fine, silky mousse, before finishing with a saline, mineral and persistent finish.
This Brut Tradition Premier Cru pairs elegantly with seafood (oysters, shellfish) or delicate dishes such as grilled prawns, sashimi or steamed vegetables. Ideal for the restaurant trade, this champagne accompanies fine dishes without altering their flavors.
