Color of blood orange juice with a nose of pink Florida grapefruit and yellow cherry, freshness and velvety, the palate on a mineral frame and of great depth, an intense freshness gives way entirely to the expression of fruits cited above.

    Description

Champagne Pertois-Moriset Rosé Blanc Grand Cru

Produced by the Pertois-Moriset family estate (founded in 1951 in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger), this Champagne rosé Grand Cru blends 92% Chardonnay (Côte des Blancs) and 8% Pinot Noir (Bouzy) to offer a pure expression of the terroir.

    Technical characteristics

    • Blend: 92% Chardonnay (Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant, Chouilly) + 8% Pinot Noir (Bouzy)
    • Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel vats; Pinot Noir vinified red in barrels
    • Ageing : ≥ 36 months on lees, Extra Brut dosage (~3 g/L)
    • Cellaring: drink now or cellar for up to 7 years

    Sensory profile

The clear, partridge-eye colour reveals a delicate, persistent mousse. On the nose, notes of red berries (wild strawberry, redcurrant), light citrus fruits (grapefruit, bergamot) and white flowers, supported by hints of brioche and toast. On the palate, the attack is precise, the minerality asserts itself with a refreshing acidity. The saline finish is a reminder of the purity of the limestone terroir.

    Recommended use

This Grand Cru goes well with a wide range of dishes: seafood, fine fish, shellfish and soft cheeses. It can also be served with iodised or lightly praline-flavoured dishes, where its minerality and freshness come to the fore.

    Why choose this Champagne?

    • Authentic expression of the Côte des Blancs terroir, complemented by the structure of the Pinot Noir from Bouzy
    • Respectful viticulture and sustainable commitment
    • Long ageing on the lees (36 months), guaranteeing complexity and finesse
    • Very low dosage, ideal for those looking for a lively, mineral extra brut rosé
