Presentation of Champagne Gosset Petite Douceur Rosé
Produced by the oldest Champagne house, founded in 1584, this extra-dry Rosé blends 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, including 7% red wine. Aged for at least 11 years in the cellar and disgorged after six months of rest, it is dosed at 17 g/l to ensure a perfect balance between richness and freshness.

- Blend: 60% Chardonnay (Avize, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger), 40% Pinot Noir (Bouzy, Ambonnay, Cumières)
- Ageing: minimum 11 years on slats + 6 months after disgorging
- Dosage: 17 g/l ( extra-dry label)
Aromas and sensations
On the nose, this Chardonnay Pinot Noir Champagne opens with notes of strawberry, raspberry and red cherry, before revealing hintsof blood orange and strawberry candy. With aeration, more spicy or umami nuances appear, signs of controlled maturation.
On the palate, the attack is full-bodied and precise, combining rich fruitiness with lively acidity. The texture is silky, with a distinct freshness on the finish. Its elegant structure comes from the balanced blend and prolonged ageing.
Advantages and benefits
- Optimal balance between sweetness and liveliness thanks to controlled ageing and dosage
- Grand Cru blend guaranteeing intensity and aromatic finesse
- Vinification of the raw material in the Gosset tradition: precision, consistency, depth
Use and pairings
This champagne is ideal for refined pairings. It goes well with red fruit desserts, citrus tarts, strawberry panna cotta, or slightly spicy dishes such as mild curries or sweet and savoury dishes (duck à l'orange, tagines).
