Yellow gold nuance, vast nose dominated by fruity and exotic notes, deep aromas of nuts, emerging creaminess in the mouth with a finish on almond.

Old vines are always a helping hand to success in any great wine, and De Sousa et Fils keep true to this working practice by using vines with a depth of as much as 25 metres. This means that all the minerals and trace elements are funnelled to the top, through layers of chalk. The result is always a deep, earthy taste that floods through the grapes with powerful excellence.
40% Pinot Noir – for roundness – 10% Pinot Meunier and 50% Chardonnay make up the The De Sousa and Son Brut Tradition. As great as this assembly is the dress: a clear bright colour which is made all the more impressive with the addition of stunning light green reflections. The foam also exceeds expectation, abundant in rich streams of persistent bubbles that make it a joy to drink, both in texture and flavour.
The Brut Tradition De Sousa and Fils is a Champagne with a floral nose, but don't let this put you off if you prefer citrus and ripe fruit flavours, as this drink – which also hints with mimosa – is rich on both of these things, as well as being remarkably expressive. From there on we move onto the palate; one of invigorating freshness which also contains a strong warmth of honey. The finish ends all this in classic style, with an average length and a feeling of great character embodied throughout.
