Champagne Nominé-Renard Blanc de Blancs is made from 100% Chardonnay and aged 48 months on lees. This non-vintage cuvée boasts a golden color, fine bubbles and aromas of brioche, honey and white flowers. It stands out for its minerality, freshness and balance, making it an ideal choice for delicate cuisine or seafood.
Champagne Blanc de Blancs Nominé-Renard is a highly expressive, non-vintage cuvée made exclusively from Chardonnay. Made from plots aged between 20 and 45 years in Côte des Blancs and Côte de Sézanne, this singular blend reflects the family know-how of the Domaine de Villevenard.
This cuvée has a crystalline, slightly golden color, highlighting the finesse of its fine bubbles. The nose reveals harmonious notes of brioche from aging on the lees, delicate honey, wild flowers and fresh citrus fruit. On the palate, the velvety attack reveals a silky texture, punctuated by a saline, mineral tension. The long, straight finish reveals subtle hints of white peach and preserved lemon.
Champagne Blanc de Blancs Nominé-Renard is best served at 9-10°C. It goes perfectly with pan-fried scallops, asparagus risotto, lobster, white fish in a light sauce or subtly spiced duck.
This cuvée reflects the right balance between tradition and elegance. Its extensive vinification on lees, combined with fine dosage, reveals a mineral and noble character, without artifice. It is aimed at discerning connoisseurs looking for a mineral, structured Champagne capable of accompanying refined cuisine.
