Champagne Nature Moutard: pure expression of the Côte des Bar terroir

Champagne Brut Nature Moutard is a cuvée representative of the non-dosed style and terroirs of the Côte des Bar. With a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, this non-dosed champagne reveals a direct, precise expression, rich in minerality and freshness.

Technical characteristics

  • Producer: Famille Moutard, in Buxeuil, Aube, Champagne.
  • Appellation: Champagne, Brut Nature (no dosage).
  • Grape varieties: Pinot Noir (80%), Chardonnay (20%).
  • Terroirs: Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils in the Côte des Bar. Vines around 20 years old.
  • Vinification: Harvested by hand / pneumatic press / cold settling / fermentation in temperature-controlled vats / extended ageing on laths / no added sugar after disgorgement.

Aromatic profile and tasting

  • Colour: Deep golden yellow, fine, persistent effervescence.
  • Nose: Marked minerality (dry stone, flint), ripe white fruit, citrus fruit, hint of pepper.
