    Description

    Magnum Perrier-Jouët Champagne Grand Brut

Magnum Champagne Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut: an iconic 1.5 litre format that showcases the house's expertise, with a prestigious blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay.

    Technical characteristics

    • Blend: 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Meunier, 20% Chardonnay.
    • Dosage: Brut (8–12 g/L).
    • Format: 1.5L magnum.
    • Ageing: at least 3 years in historic cellars, bottled in chalk galleries in Épernay.

    Character and taste profile

The colour is a subtle golden hue, supported by a fine and persistent effervescence. The nose opens with a floral bouquet (white flowers, hawthorn, light honey), complemented by hints of citrus and toasted brioche. On the palate, the texture is balanced: the lemony acidity and vinous structure combine with flavours of pear, ripe apple, toasted hazelnut and honey. The finish is long and harmonious, leaving a pleasant sensation of roundness and freshness.

    Use and service

Ideal for serving with seafood, cooked fish, white meats in subtle sauces, or mushroom-based dishes. Recommended serving temperature: 9–11°C.

Why choose this Magnum Grand Brut?

    • The magnum format promotes harmonious ageing, bringing finesse and complexity.
    • A blend of selected crus (Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, Côte des Blancs) for consistent quality.
    • Founded in 1811, Perrier-Jouët was a pioneer of the "Brut" style as early as 1856.
    • Prolonged ageing in deep cellars guarantees minerality and controlled maturity.

    Storage advice

Store upright at a stable temperature (10–12°C), away from light and vibrations. Enjoy within 5 to 8 years to appreciate the magnum's beautiful aromatic development.
