Champagne Robert Moncuit: A Story of Passion and Tradition

The story of Champagne Robert Moncuit began in 1973, when Mr. and Mrs. Robert Moncuit began selling Champagnes that they proudly marketed under their own name. The year 1995 marked a significant turning point, with their sons François and Michel taking the reins of the family business. Under their leadership, EARL DU PETITORME was created, and they chose to continue developing the iconic brand, Champagne Robert Moncuit. A few years later, Stéphanie, Michel's wife, joined this exciting adventure.

After more than twenty-seven years dedicated to the family farm, François decided to retire to enjoy a well-deserved rest. Passion for the profession of champagne winemaker drives the Moncuit family, and their objective is clear: to produce a sparkling wine of exceptional quality, particularly in brut tradition, blanc de vins and rosé. Two vintage vintages have also seen the light of day, namely the blanc de Blancs and the reserve vintage. For lovers of Champagne accompanying desserts, a semi-dry option is also offered.

Robert Moncuit Terroir of Excellence: The Bergères les Vertus Vineyard

The Champagne Robert Moncuit vineyard extends over approximately 3 hectares, nestled in Bergères les Vertus in the Marne, a village located at the southern tip of the famous Côte des Blancs and classified as 1er cru. The grape varieties are mainly made up of Chardonnay, the only white grape variety authorized in Champagne, and a touch of Pinot Noir to produce the tradition, rosé and reserve vintages.

Committed to the “sustainable viticulture in Champagne” certification process, the Moncuit family strives to produce grapes of the highest quality while preserving the environment. The conviction that exceptional grapes are the key to producing exceptional Champagnes guides each of their steps in the vineyards.
