Champagne de Mutigny
The village of Mutigny, perched on the slopes of the Montagne de Reims, is renowned for its exceptional wine-growing terroir. Classified as a Premier Cru, the vineyard covers some 101.5 hectares, dominated by Pinot Noir (80.7%), followed by Pinot Meunier (12.7%) and Chardonnay (6.6%). This predominance of Pinot Noir gives Mutigny champagnes a robust structure and complex red fruit aromas. The clay-limestone soils and favorable exposure of the hillsides contribute to the exceptional quality of the grapes, perpetuating an ancestral winegrowing tradition.
Among the region's emblematic cuvées, Champagne William Saintot Blanc de Noirs stands out for its 100% Pinot Noir composition, offering generous red fruit flavors and exquisite freshness. Similarly, Bollinger PN VZ19, made exclusively from Pinot Noir, expresses a unique vision of this grape variety with remarkable depth and elegance. Every sip of these champagnes reflects the expertise of the winemakers and the richness of the Mutigny terroir.
