On a grand cru wine base, a complex rosé based on a cordon bleu blend of the famous hillsides of Les Riceys brings this rosé a fruity mouthfeel, without excess, on fragrances of blackberries, and tea in its freshness. Good value for money.
As good-quality, economy champagne goes, the De Venoge Brut Rose; is in a class of its own. Created in 1864, this fine pink champagne combines a worthy mousse with a traditional assembly that is added to by a further three varieties of red wine from Pinot Black.
Known for some time as the Cremant rose, this is a champagne to be presided over while young, making it quite unlike many of the other House De Venoge champagne.
With its pink dress alive with delightful bubbles, we move on to the nose, where fresh champagnecomes together with aromas of red fruits as well as a touch of toast.
Once on the palate, discover a lively wine with all the roundness of some expensive bottles. Fresh and full of aroma, anticipate a finish that weaves a good compromise between minerality and fruit.
