Champagne du Sezannais

The terroir of Champagne Sézannais, located around the town of Sézanne in the south-western part of the Marne, has been recognized since the 17th century for the quality of its wines. Its chalk- and flint-rich subsoil favors the cultivation of Chardonnay, giving the champagnes a rich, round signature. The varied soils, composed of limestone, marl, sand and clay, combined with south and southeast exposure, create ideal conditions for aromatic, well-balanced wines.
