Champagne Haton: Heritage and Excellence
Founded in 1928 by Octave Haton, Champagne Haton is located in Damery, in the heart of the Marne Valley. This family-run business continues a winemaking tradition dating back to 1610, when François Haton acquired the first plots of land in Damery. Today, the Haton family manages 60 hectares of vines, 45 of which are owned, spread over several villages in the region. Their know-how is reflected in the production of elegant, timeless champagnes, highlighting the traditional grape varieties of the Champagne region.
Among the flagship cuvées, Cuvée Classic, a blend of 60% Pinot Meunier and 40% Pinot Noir, features aromas of redcurrant and stone fruit, with hints of citrus and dried flowers. Cuvée Réserve, balanced between Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, offers delicate fragrances of white peach, citrus and orange blossom, followed by notes of hazelnut and sweet spices. Finally, Cuvée Héritage, composed of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, ages a minimum of four years in the cellar, developing complex aromas of stone fruit, citrus and brioche notes, with a fresh, persistent finish.
