Laurent-Perrier places particular emphasis on Chardonnay in its blend. This grape variety accounts for more than half of La Cuvée and lends it its characteristic freshness, aromatic finesse and balance.

A blend dominated by Chardonnay

La Cuvée is crafted from a selection of over 100 Champagne crus. Its blend comprises:

• over 50 per cent Chardonnay;
• 30 to 35 per cent Pinot Noir;
• 10 to 15 per cent Meunier.

Between 15 and 30 per cent reserve wines may also be included in the blend to ensure the consistency and complexity of the Laurent-Perrier style.

Extended ageing in the cellars

The Cuvée is aged for around four years in the Laurent-Perrier cellars. This maturation helps to develop its harmony whilst preserving the freshness and precision sought by the House.

Tasting notes for Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée

Appearance: the colour reveals a luminous pale gold hue, enlivened by very fine bubbles and a persistent head.

On the nose: the bouquet is delicate and fresh, characterised by citrus and white flowers.

On the palate: the attack is fresh and elegant. Notes of vine peach and white fruits gradually emerge. The finish retains a fruity, balanced and particularly refined character.
