By extracting red wine from parcels of old vines, from the coast of Ay – including “Meurtet” – and adding this to Pinot Black sourced responsibly from the Valley of the Marne (20%) and the Montagne de Reims regions of France (80%), the Deutz house has created a Brut Rose that responds well to ageing. Even more so, the flavours are blended with finesse and the nose is subtle, leading to a mouth of remarkable intensity.
Feast your eyes upon a shimmering pink dress, alive with almost magical brightness. The colour is made even more pleasing on the eye by flourishes of effervescence, flowing into a nose that is highly expressive and fuelled by the mature power of Pinot Black, picked at just the right time.
