Celebrating Champagne: A Twist on Tradition with Cocktails

Traditionalists might argue that champagne should only ever be enjoyed in its pure, unadulterated form, but that doesn't stop the more adventurous party-goers from experimenting with cocktails inspired by this most excellent drink. Below are several examples of cocktails sure to set any party alight with that unique spark of excitement that only champagne can offer.

Cocktail Champagne Charlie

Believed to have originated in 1851, when the man who the drink is named after (the one and only Monsieur Charles-Camille Heidsieck) brought champagne to the public's attention for the first time, this fruit sensation is the classic marrying of champagne and De Kuyper Apricot Brandy.

Champagne Kir Royale

Almost as well known as the previous, this infamous and beloved pink cocktail – best served up in a flute glass for maximum effect – comes in several variations, all comprising of a basic combination of De Kuyper Crème de Cassis and our most beloved drink.
