Champagne from Ambonnay
The terroir of Ambonnay, located south-east of the Reims mountain range, is one of the 17 communes classified as Grand Cru in Champagne. The village is renowned for its chalky soils and favorable exposure, providing ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir, which accounts for around 80% of the local grape varieties. Ambonnay champagnes are distinguished by their power, aromatic complexity and elegant structure.
Among the flagship cuvées made from Ambonnay grapes is Delamotte Brut Tradition, a harmonious blend offering fresh notes and beautiful minerality. The salmon-colored Gosset Petite Douceur Rosé is distinguished by its red fruit aromas and subtle sweetness. Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé, renowned for its freshness and aromatic intensity, is made exclusively from pinot noir. Finally, Taittinger Prélude Grands Crus embodies elegance with its floral notes and silky texture.
