Since its first harvest in 1905, this champagne has never ceased to fascinate wine lovers around the world with its uniqueness and remarkable quality. Founded by Aimé Salon, an enthusiast, this champagne is made from a single grape variety, Chardonnay, and a single year, chosen for its exceptional quality. This rigor in the choice of grapes and in the production is explained by the philosophy that has always driven this exceptional house: to produce only the best, even if this means a limited production.

Quality above all for an incomparable tasting of Champagne Salon

Le Jardin Salon, a one-hectare plot located in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, is at the heart of the production of this exceptional champagne. This plot is completed by nineteen other small plots also located in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, all rigorously selected for their quality and exceptional potential. The soil of these plots is clay-limestone, with a high proportion of chalk, which gives the chardonnay all its characteristic finesse and minerality.

To guarantee optimum quality for their champagne, the wines of Champagne Salon are kept in the cellar for an average of ten years. This is the time required for the wine to express all of its exceptional qualities and develop subtle, rich and complex aromas.

Today, Maison Delamotte has taken over from Maison Salon and perpetuates with the same rigor and passion the traditions and values that have made Champagne Salon famous. This exceptional collaboration between two exceptional champagne houses, which share the same philosophy and the same approach, gives birth to a unique, elegant and complex wine, which testifies to the know-how and excellence of Champagne production.
