Champagne winemaker a Heritage from 1923

The history of Champagne Mousse Fils dates back to 1923, when Eugène Moussé produced the first bottle, a founding act that triggered a saga of passion for this sparkling wine. From the 17th century to the present day, the Moussé champagne winemaking family has always been rooted along the Marne valley. It was in 1926 that the first marketing took place, with Eugène making the trip to Paris with a few bottles of champagne in a Citroën B14. This bold decision marks the beginning of a reputation that will extend well beyond the borders of the Marne valley.

Cédric's Adventure in 2003

In 2003, the adventure continued with Cédric Moussé, the fourth generation of winegrowers. After training in different vineyards and at the CIVC experimental vat room, Cédric devoted himself to ultra-responsible champagne production, putting an end to the use of synthetic pesticides in 2014. Commitment to clean, high-quality production becomes the cornerstone of the champagne winemaker's philosophy.

In 2017, a revolution in winemaking begins with the desire to remove all masks, from sugar to disgorging to oenological products. Chance encounters with other winemakers inspire a constant quest to raise the vibrational level of champagne.

Champagne Moussé Fils L'Esquisse embodies the union of new and young plots. Composed of 70% Meunier and 30% Pinot Noir, this cuvée from the Champagne winemaker is designed to be fruity and tasted young, with great drinkability due to its large proportion of sizes.

Sparkling Champagne Fils Eugène

Eugène, created by the founder of the house 100 years ago, is a perpetual champagne cuvée started in 2003. This cuvée, composed of 80% Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir, represents a tribute to the history of the Mousse family. The “Long Guard” version demonstrates the exceptional ability of Meunier to age while retaining its freshness and tension.

Sparkling Champagne Fils Eugène Rosé

Champagne Moussé Fils Eugène Rosé, characterized by a blend of two perpetuals since 2003, offers a unique experience with 82% Meunier and 18% Pinot Noir. Aged in barrels over 8 years old, this rosé seduces with its unique identity, the result of cold pre-fermentation macerations.
