The Gosset champagne Grand Blanc de Blancs is made only with chardonnay from about fifteen villages of the Côte des Blancs (Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cuis ...) and villages of the Côte des Noirs with whites (Villers-Marmery, Tours-sur-Marne, Trépail…). Vinification and aging on lees avoiding any premature oxidation. Malolactic fermentation is carefully avoided in order to retain the aroma of the fruit and ensure perfect preservation.
A slight dosage to maintain the balance between freshness, fruitiness and vinosity and not to mask the character of the wine and its purity. Minimum aging of 3 years in a cellar at constant temperature, much longer than the legal minimum of fifteen months.
To the eye, the color has fairly pale golden nuances with fine and light bubbles on the surface.
On the nose, a mineral and floral side, which reveals aromas of flowers and white fruits with hints of tangy yellow lemon.
On the palate, white flowers mingle with slightly toasted fragrances.
The Grand Blanc de Blancs Brut Gosset Champagne, full of finesse and elegance, is the ideal companion for an aperitif. Its freshness also allows it to be paired with numerous scallops, crab remoulade, gougères, fish tartare, oysters or even Parmesan.
