The Champagne Brut 2012 vintage of Charles Heidsieck is a blending sparkling wine made from 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, from 10 Grands Crus and Premiers Crus such as Oger, Cuis, Ambonnay or Vertus ( see map and explanations). A year marked by significant climatic contrasts, 2012 gave birth to one of the greatest vintages of recent decades in Champagne, it presents all the qualities of a classic and noble vintage.
To the eye, pale yellow color with fine bubbles
On the nose, aromatic complexity with smoky and mineral notes. Aromas of yellow fruits, apricot, quince, blueberry and fresh almond.
In the mouth, tension and freshness with gourmet fruit notes leading to a delicious smoothness. Saline finish.
The Charles Heidsieck 2012 brut vintage will be the ideal companion to white meats or even smoked dishes.
